Vice President, Finance (full time)

Reporting to the President, Linde Canada the Vice President, Finance serves as the senior finance leader for the Canadian business and a key member of the Canadian leadership team. The Vice President, Finance will provide strategic and operational financial leadership across the business, partnering closely with senior management to shape business strategy, drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, strengthen controls, and ensure sound financial governance.

  • In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the President and senior leadership team, helping shape and execute the long-term business strategy for Linde Canada while providing insight into key opportunities, risks, and performance drivers
  • You will lead the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, capital budgets, business reviews, and financial targets, ensuring strong alignment between financial results and business objectives
  • A key focus will be monitoring business performance, analyzing trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making
  • You will provide strategic financial guidance on major business initiatives, including capital investments, growth opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships, and other high-impact projects
  • The role involves leading financial evaluations, business case development, and scenario analysis to support decisions related to expansion, diversification, mergers and acquisitions, and operational improvements

  • As a senior leader, you will build and develop a high-performing Finance team, while providing guidance to business leaders on financial policies, controls, reporting requirements, performance expectations, and overall business results
