Full Job Description
C3 AI is looking for a results-driven marketing executive to own the C3 AI Accelerator Series end to end. The Accelerator is a one-day, hands-on masterclass in agentic AI where customers and prospects describe a business problem in plain language and build a working application on their own data with C3 Code, our enterprise agentic app builder. C3 AI will host Accelerators monthly in major cities worldwide and integrate them into Tier 1 industry events.

This is a high-visibility leadership role and the single accountable owner of the program: its strategy and brand, operating model, direct-marketing engine, and flawless delivery in every market. Success requires proven direct-marketing results, rigorous execution across many cities at once, and the ability to tie every event to pipeline.

This role is based in Redwood City, CA and requires being in the office 5 days a week, with travel as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Accelerator program charter, target audiences, positioning, messaging, creative, and global calendar
  • Build and maintain the Accelerator Playbook, including operating model, governance, decision rights, and RACI, to ensure consistency as the program scales
  • Drive integration of Accelerators into Tier 1 industry events
  • Build and run the direct-marketing engine behind every event: personalized outbound, email, account-based campaigns, and partner channels
  • Own the registration funnel and data; be accountable for qualified attendance, show rate, and cost per qualified attendee
  • Partner with sales leadership on target accounts, seller activation, and direct outreach
  • Set and enforce post-event follow-up standards that convert every attendee into an account conversation
  • Own the master workback, market intake, and activation checklist for every city
  • Ensure attendee, technical, and facilitator readiness for a working session where every participant builds
  • Set KPIs, run the scorecard and post-event debriefs, and report results, including pipeline influenced, to executive leadership
  • Build and lead the team, own the budget, and manage agencies, venues, and vendors

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree (MBA or master's) preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including extensive marketing experience
  • Extensive, proven success in direct marketing, with campaigns and conversion results you can demonstrate from invitation through attendance to pipeline
  • Track record of running multi-city event programs at a consistently high standard
  • Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and directing agencies and vendors
  • Data-driven approach to measurement and pipeline attribution
  • Strong executive presence and written/verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively, domestically and internationally
  • Preferred: B2B enterprise software, AI, or developer-audience event experience; experience integrating programs into large industry conferences; account-based marketing alongside enterprise sales

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

C3 AI provides excellent benefits, a competitive compensation package and generous equity plan.
