ABOUT THE ROLEThe Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for establishing and leading an enterprise-wide procurement and purchasing function that supports all MYR Group operating companies across the C&I businesses. This role provides strategic sourcing leadership, enterprise spend leverage, supply-chain risk management, and procurement governance while preserving operating-company autonomy. The role centralizes strategy and supplier leverage while enabling decentralized execution to support speed, project performance, and field operations.
Essential Functions- Enterprise Procurement Strategy
- Develop and execute MYR Group's enterprise procurement strategy across all operating companies
- Aggregate Spend across C&I businesses to leverage scale and improve pricing and availability
- Align procurement initiatives with margin improvement and risk mitigation goals
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for major material and service categories
- Establish national and regional Master Supply Agreements (MSAs)
- Negotiate pricing, escalation clauses, rebates, and capacity commitment
- Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships
- Operating Company Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to OpCo purchasing and operations teams
- Support long-lead and high-risk material planning
- Assist with supplier escalation and market intelligence during shortages
- Governance & Compliance
- Develop enterprise procurement policies and standards
- Standardize contract templates and commercial terms
- Ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and ethical sourcing requirements
- Supply Chain Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate supplier, geopolitical, and capacity risks
- Develop contingency and dual-source strategies
- Data, Reporting & Performance
- Improve spend visibility and supplier performance reporting
- Track and report cost savings and cost avoidance
- Key Performance Indicators

ABOUT YOUQualifications- 10-15 years of procurement or supply-chain leadership experience
- 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles in construction, EPC, utility, or commercial and industrial environments
- Demonstrated experience with high-dollar and long-lead materials
Preferred Education- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Finance; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

WHAT WE OFFERCompensation & Benefits- Salary $220,000-$275,000/year and discretionary bonus
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
