About the role:

Takeda is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Vice President, Enterprise Insights & Analytics Capability within the Global Capability Management (GCM) Center of Excellence. This executive will be responsible for building, scaling, and governing Takeda's enterprise Insights & Analytics (I&A) capability as a strategic enterprise asset, enabling data-driven decision making, AI adoption, operational excellence, and measurable business value across the company.

As the global leader for Enterprise I&A capability, this executive will establish the strategy, operating model, governance, talent framework, and value realization approach for analytics capabilities delivered through Takeda's Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in Bengaluru, India; Łódź, Poland; and Mexico City, Mexico. The role will lead a globally distributed organization and partner closely with business, functional, digital, data, and transformation leaders to accelerate Takeda's data, analytics, and AI ambitions.

How you will contribute:
  • Define and execute the enterprise Insights & Analytics capability strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision.
  • Establish enterprise standards, governance, operating principles, and maturity frameworks for analytics capabilities.
  • Drive alignment across business units and functions to ensure a consistent, scalable, and 'enterprise-first' approach to analytics.
  • Serve as a senior leader within the GCM CoE, helping shape enterprise capability strategy, location strategy, workforce planning, and capability investments.
  • Establish performance measures and value realization frameworks that demonstrate business impact and enterprise outcomes.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing Insights & Analytics teams across Bengaluru, Łódź, and Mexico City.
  • Create a unified global talent model while leveraging the unique strengths of each GCC location.
  • Develop organizational structures, leadership succession plans, career frameworks, and workforce strategies to support long-term capability growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration across all GCC locations.
  • Drive workforce scalability and capability development aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to identify opportunities where analytics, AI, and automation can create measurable enterprise value.
  • Guide the development and scaling of advanced analytics, forecasting, market intelligence, customer insights, decision-support solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Data and Digital leaders to advance data strategy, governance, quality, accessibility, and analytics platform adoption.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, governance, adoption, and value realization across the enterprise.
  • Drive the creation of reusable analytics assets, products, methodologies, and best practices that can be leveraged across multiple business areas.
  • Establish enterprise mechanisms to prioritize, govern, and allocate analytics resources and investments.
  • Balance enterprise demand with capacity, talent availability, and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure transparency into capability performance, utilization, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders to connect analytics investments with measurable value realization and strategic objectives
  • Build and nurture a world-class global analytics community.
  • Develop capability frameworks, career pathways, learning programs, and communities of practice.
  • Create an environment that attracts, develops, and retains top analytics, data science, AI, and business intelligence talent.
  • Promote talent mobility and knowledge sharing across functions, business units, and GCC locations. The GCM capability model emphasizes talent as an enterprise asset and capability scaling across the enterprise.
  • Operate as an enterprise leader capable of influencing executive stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Translate complex data and analytics opportunities into actionable business recommendations.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$259,000.00 - $407,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
