Job Description

  • Support the Chief Privacy Officer and Global Privacy Office Directors to operationalize the Bank's privacy strategy and management framework


  • Provide privacy subject matter expert (SME) support to the business to help them fulfil their regulatory and organizational requirements to protect personal information and uphold the privacy rights of clients and employees, while enabling innovation


  • Design, develop, enhance and operationalize enterprise-level privacy policies/procedures, processes and controls. Key focus areas include privacy impact assessments and privacy regulatory change implementation.


  • Support the deployment of privacy management technology and tools (automation) to enhance data privacy controls


  • Work with key stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Compliance, business, technology) to implement regulatory compliance initiatives


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree (JD or MBA) or the equivalent combination of education and experience


  • 3+ years experience in a privacy role


  • Understanding of key privacy laws in EMEA and APAC (e.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PECR, PIPL, DPDPA)


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements


  • Team player with an open and collaborative approach to delivering required outcomes


  • Financial services industry experience, CIPP certification, e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, and/or Global privacy program experience

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
