Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Corporate Trust Transaction Manager to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, New York City, NY or Houston, TX.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and their legal team, by partnering with BNY counsel and internal parties, to identify and mitigate potential contractual, operational, and regulatory risks to ensure contracts (such as Bond Indentures, Trustee/Paying Agent agreements, etc) meet BNY's risk appetite.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely facilitation of onboarding activities on the Bank's systems to comply with contract requirements.
  • Focus on the client experience by delivering high-quality service, anticipating client needs, and utilizing available technology to optimize results.
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and improve efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness. Escalate risk exposures promptly while providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive advantage.


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Strong educational background
  • Experience of Corporate Trust and/or transaction management in Asset backed securities & Mortgage-backed securities.
  • Ability to work under tight and demanding deadlines and effectively manage internal and external relationship difficulties in a time sensitive, pressured environment.
  • Able to investigate and propose (a) innovative legal solutions that are often complex to ensure that enterprise documentation standards are upheld; and (b) commercial solutions to business
  • Strong inquisitive and lateral thinking skills

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
