Job Overview
The Vice President, Commercial Management is a senior enterprise leader at T-Mobile, with this position specifically assigned to the Broadband business spanning High-Speed Internet (HSI) and Fiber products. This role owns end-to-end commercial strategy and is directly accountable for quarterly and annual subscriber net adds, revenue targets, acquisition strategy, retention strategies, and channel performance against T-Mobile's broadband growth commitments. The VP drives demand generation and promotional planning - including the operationalization of offers and campaigns for effective in-quarter execution - while collaborating closely with Finance, Marketing Planning & Strategy, Pricing, Portfolio Management, and CS&A to align strategy to financial outcomes. The position leads a team of Directors covering Acquisition and Retention, HIS/Fiber Sales and Performance, and Business Intelligence.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads the strategic direction and execution of Broadband acquisition and retention initiatives to drive and retain Broadband growth.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of demand generation strategies and promotional planning.
  • Collaborates closely with Marketing Planning and Strategy to ensure the operationalization of offers and campaigns for effective in-quarter execution.
  • Manages a team of VPs and Directors focusing on various aspects of Broadband, including channel steering and segment performance.
  • Contributes to enhancing T-Mobile's market position and achieving business targets through strategic postpaid initiatives.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of acquisition strategies and makes data-driven decisions to optimize performance.


Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years Leading strategic direction and execution of acquisition and retention initiatives in a telecommunications or similar industry (Required)
  • 7-10 years Extensive knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. (Required)
  • 7-10 years Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive successful execution. (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Expertise in developing and executing strategies for broadband acquisition and retention to enhance market position and achieve business targets. (Required)

Licenses and Certifications:

Base Pay Range: $257,800 - $348,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 50%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
