Overview

The VP, Client Partner will serve in an in-house capacity supporting a Houston-based client and leading integrated brand and corporate reputation communications initiatives. This role requires a strategic communications professional with demonstrated experience in brand and reputation building, executive visibility, team leadership, and the development of creative, effective campaigns. The ideal candidate will be expected to collaborate effectively across Razorfish's network, provide senior-level counsel, manage multiple workstreams, and lead a team in delivering high-quality client work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of integrated campaigns for corporate clients, serving as a strategic leader and ensuring the success of client programs from inception to completion through passionate and excellent execution.
  • Cultivate and strengthen positive client relationships, upholding the company's reputation for high-quality delivery and service.
  • Offer strategic counsel to clients by assessing challenges and recommending logical, effective solutions.
  • Implement client programs that support media relations, corporate events, and executive visibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate and communicate across departments and skill sets to deliver unified, best-in-class content and media materials.
  • Write compelling, well-structured content and mentor other team members in effective writing practices.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for clients and foster creative ideation among team members.
  • Act as a strong client lead, exercising sound judgment and providing clear, actionable guidance.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years public relations experience, corporate PR/Communications background desired
  • Experience working in an agency or in-house role coordinating with agency partners
  • Experience working on corporate reputation campaigns across industries
  • You are both a creative and a strategic problem solver, and someone who consistently leads and supports a team
  • Needs to have a track record in client service to senior level clients
  • Strategic media relations knowledge
  • Experience working with C-suite executives on executive visibility programs
  • BA or BS in Communications or related degree, or equivalent experience

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.

Compensation Range: $149,340.00 - $204,400.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
