WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Momentum Worldwide is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Director of Client Operations to support a major sports and experiential client across a portfolio of partnerships and live/experiential programs. This role sits at the center of the business, owning scope development, budgeting, forecasting, and operational rigor across complex, fast-moving workstreams.
We're looking for a process-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and knows how to bring structure to complexity. You'll partner closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive clarity, accountability, and efficiency, ensuring the work not only runs smoothly, but delivers at the highest level.
This individual will play a critical role in driving profitability, optimizing resources, and enabling teams to do their best work, balancing precision with pace in a way that keeps both the business and the work moving forward.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Supports the financial and operational health of the account, including budget planning, forecasting, burn tracking, and monthly billing, in partnership with senior leadership and client finance teams.
- Manages development, updates, and change orders for Scope of Work, ensuring alignment with client procurement and internal stakeholders.
- Oversees team utilization and burn, proactively identifying staffing, efficiency, and delivery opportunities.
- Partners with Account Leads, Project Management, and Resource Management to implement key operational workstreams, including reporting, heat mapping, onboarding processes, and workflow improvements.
- Implements tools and processes to streamline operations, improve visibility, and enhance efficiency across the account.
- Ensures accurate time tracking, fee application, resource assignment, and project projections, supporting smooth execution across Momentum systems.
- Champions agency culture by fostering collaboration, accountability, and clear communication; leads and contributes to key team meetings.
- Participates in experiential activations to see programs come to life and support the team on the ground.
HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
- Bachelors degree preferred, ideally in Business or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in marketing or operations, with agency experience strongly preferred (client operations or account management focus)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage complex operational workflows
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
- Exceptional relationship management, client management, and influencing skills
- Solution-oriented problem solver with a track record of improving operational efficiency and driving process improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting to senior leadership and clients
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people development skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-visibility environments supporting experiential and partnership activations
- Able to exercise both influence and directive leadership as the situation requires, fostering collaboration across functions
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
