Vice President, Client Activation Alternatives

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Implementations II to join our Alternative Investment Services team. In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Lead and control complex onboarding projects following all governance standards.
  • Manage client relationships effectively through a comprehensive understanding of the client9s business needs and expectations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the service delivery teams within BNY.
  • Facilitate internal discussions around changes to the operating model and follow up with internal teams to ensure all required signoffs are received.
  • Escalate appropriately and manage issues until resolved.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 plus years of total work experience preferred
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and a good understanding of alternative fund administration and how services are delivered.
  • Experience working within one or more of the core Alternative Investment Services functions - Fund Accounting & Transfer Agency , Custody and Trustee.
  • A consistent ability to deliver within deadlines, even under challenging circumstances while managing client expectations.
  • Collaborative team member with demonstrable skills in developing effective relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to adapt and act quickly to drive change by advocating innovative solutions and new ways of thinking.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee9s eligible dependents.
