The role serves as the central coordinator for executive engagement initiatives, ensuring that every high-value client interaction reflects BNY's commitment to client obsession, differentiated service, commercial growth, and relationship excellence.

Through executive sponsorship, strategic events, executive-to-executive engagement, thought leadership programs, and hospitality-driven experiences, the function strengthens client trust, expands executive relationships, enhances BNY's brand and reputation, and creates opportunities for commercial growth across the franchise.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Own the strategy, governance, and execution of Executive & Client Engagement programs across the Commercial organization.
  • Lead the firm's Unreasonable Hospitality strategy, defining and evolving how BNY delivers differentiated, memorable, and client-centric experiences.
  • Design and execute executive engagement programs, including Executive Sponsorship, Executive Committee client engagement, and strategic relationship initiatives.
  • Manage and enhance the Executive Sponsor Program, partnering with senior leaders to strengthen executive-to-executive relationships with priority clients.
  • Lead the planning and execution of client summits, executive briefings, C-suite engagements, and other high-impact client experiences.
  • Partner with Coverage, Marketing, Innovation, Client Service, and Communications teams to create new client engagement experiences that strengthen relationships and support commercial growth.
  • Develop executive briefing materials, relationship intelligence, and engagement strategies that prepare leaders for meaningful client interactions.
  • Support coverage teams in identifying, planning, and executing strategic client engagement opportunities across the relationship lifecycle.
  • Establish enterprise standards, playbooks, and best practices for executive engagement, hospitality, and client experience excellence.
  • Capture insights, opportunities, and actions from executive engagements and ensure effective follow-through across stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor engagement effectiveness metrics, using client feedback and commercial outcomes to continuously enhance programs and experiences.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Background in leading executive engagement, client hospitality, or relationship management programs
  • Track record of delivering high-touch client experiences, leadership meetings, and strategic events
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with senior executives and support executive-to-executive client relationships
  • Experience collaborating across commercial, marketing, communications, innovation, and service functions
  • Skill in preparing executive-ready briefing materials, client intelligence, and interaction strategies
  • Experience developing frameworks, playbooks, and standards that elevate client engagement practices
  • Ability to identify and coordinate strategic touchpoints across the client relationship journey
  • Experience turning engagement insights into actionable follow-up plans and stakeholder alignment
  • Proficiency in measuring program impact through feedback, engagement data, and commercial results
  • Strength in creating differentiated, client-focused experiences that deepen relationships and enable growth
