Full Job Description
The Vice President/General Manager will have full oversight over Nexstar's operations of WKBN (CBS), WYFX (Fox), and will oversee its operational agreements with Vaughan Media, LLC providing services to WYTV (ABC/MyNet), as well as wkbn.com and all other digital, mobile, and social assets for the stations.

The ideal candidate will be a digital-first leader with a proven record of driving revenue through advanced digital advertising solutions, new business development, and innovative sales strategies. The successful candidate will have led either a commercial television station with a strong digital advertising operation or a high-performing digital sales organization. Experience developing and scaling locally produced content across OTT, web, social, and linear platforms to expand audience reach and accelerate revenue growth is essential.

Success in this role requires strategic vision, disciplined execution, and the ability to build a highly collaborative, growth-oriented culture. The successful candidate will promote teamwork, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while developing strong relationships with employees, community leaders, and key clients. Experience managing a duopoly operation is preferred.

Candidates should have at least five years of senior management experience and a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing digital sales, broadcast sales, content, and news teams. The ability to collaborate effectively across departments, strengthen the station's community presence, and translate emerging digital opportunities into measurable business results is essential.
