Ontario Tech University seeks an exceptional Vice-President,Advancement to help shape the future of one of Canada's most dynamic anddifferentiated universities. Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor andserving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice-President will playa pivotal role in advancing an institution uniquely poised for today andaccelerating toward tomorrow-one defined by its commitment to Tech with aConscience, where innovation, ethical leadership, and societal impact convergeto address the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world.Working collaboratively with the Chancellor, Vice-Presidents, Deans, faculty,staff, alumni, donors, and community partners, the Vice-President will championOntario Tech's academic, research, and innovation priorities while elevatingthe university's profile, influence, and philanthropic impact.

The Vice-President will provide strategic leadership for anintegrated advancement and alumni enterprise, with oversight spanningphilanthropy and development, alumni engagement, stewardship, advancementoperations, donor relations, and partnership development. Serving as a keyambassador for the university, the successful candidate will cultivatetransformational relationships with major, principal, and emergingphilanthropic partners while identifying new opportunities for philanthropicgrowth and community engagement. This is an exceptional opportunity to build onsignificant institutional momentum and represent a university on an excitingupward trajectory redefining how technology can serve humanity, mobilizingsupport for student success, research excellence, and innovation withreal-world impact.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary, energetic, collaborative, andresults-oriented relationship-builder and leader with significant experience inadvancement, fund development, campaign leadership, and donor engagement. Theywill possess a strong track record of securing major philanthropic gifts,building high-performing teams, and fostering productive relationships withdiverse stakeholders. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, andrelationship-building skills, coupled with the ability to inspire confidence,trust, and commitment among donors, alumni, volunteers, faculty, staff, andcommunity partners, will be essential. Experience cultivating relationshipswithin technology, innovation, energy, or industry sectors would be an asset.Lastly, a passion for higher education and research innovation and ademonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliationwill position the successful candidate to help shape the next chapter ofOntario Tech's growth, impact, and success.
