Position Overview:

The Vice President, Account Management (Strategic Accounts) is responsible for leading Datavant's relationships with a portfolio of highly complex, strategically important provider customers. This role owns retention, revenue growth, executive engagement, and value realization across assigned accounts, ensuring Datavant is positioned as a long-term strategic partner within each customer organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own overall relationship health, retention, and growth for assigned strategic provider accounts
  • Lead executive-level engagement and multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers' business objectives, market dynamics, and growth initiatives
  • Drive renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities in partnership with GTM and Finance
  • Champion adoption of Datavant's digital solutions, global workflows, and modernized operating models
  • Proactively identify account risk and lead resolution of high-impact customer issues
  • Translate operational performance into clear, value-based narratives for senior customer stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Service Delivery to ensure transparency, alignment, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Implementation, and Marketing to deliver on customer commitments
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM documentation

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation.

The estimated base salary range (not including variable pay) for this role is:

$145,600-$167,400 USD
