DescriptionProfileThe Vice Chair provides strategic leadership for the department's clinical enterprise, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The Vice Chair partners with departmental and institutional leadership to advance clinical operations, improve access to care, promote quality and patient safety, support faculty development, and drive strategic growth aligned with the department's mission of excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Candidates must have excelled in their own clinical practice and already built an outstanding reputation for clinical innovation and clinical care as well as program development.
Candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. and be board eligible or board certified. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position.
