Hudson Vets is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing the clinics operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the clinic and the well-being of the animals we care for.
What to ExpectSalary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
- Manage Hudson Vets operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
- Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
- Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.
Qualifications:- Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required
- Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.
About Our HospitalHudson Vets Tarrytown is a brand-new small animal general practice opening in early 2027 in downtown Tarrytown, New York. Hospital & EquipmentThe hospital features five exam rooms, separate dog and cat wards, isolation, a dedicated treatment area, a modern surgical suite, a fully equipped dental station, shared doctor workspace, staff lounge, lockers, and dedicated staff parking. Equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX diagnostics, advanced anesthesia monitoring, AI scribe technology, and a fully digital workflow.
MedicineThe hospital practices progressive, gold-standard medicine while maintaining flexibility for client circumstances, with Fear Free principles integrated into patient care. Services include wellness care, preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, and urgent same-day appointments as scheduling permits.
Scheduling & SupportThe log term goal is to schedule the Practice Manger 9-5pm on weekdays (M-F) with no weekends, but starting out, the hours may be flexible to mimic our opening schedule.
