Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management is preferred but not mandatory.
• Some prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, with veterinary experience a plus but not essential.
• Willingness to learn financial basics, such as budgeting and cost control, with support available.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is needed.
• Eagerness to develop into a leadership role and a proactive attitude is important.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the veterinary hospital.
• Maintain accountability for financial performance, including P&L and cost control.
• Manage inventory and ordering processes effectively.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop hospital staff through coaching and performance management.
• Enhance workflows and client service experiences.
• Support the implementation of company initiatives and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
