Rate of Pay: $82,826.00 to $120,000.00 per year
Duties: Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, medical, surgical and dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. Advance the quality of medicine practice and provide exceptional service to our clients and patients. Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns. Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs. Maintain client/patient medical/ surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols. Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service. Present a positive image of the clinic in the professional community and to the public.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or related field.
Position requires:
1. Small animal medicine (dog, cat);
2. Internal medicine, small animal;
3. Dental medicine, small animal;
4. Small animal surgery;
5. Small animal pharmaceuticals;
6. Urgent and emergency care, small animal;
7. Vaccination and wellness management, small animal; and
8. Detailed medical note taking and treatment planning.
License Requirements: Must be eligible for state licensure.
