Newberg Veterinary Hospital is excited to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our thriving, multi-doctor general practice as we grow through an exciting period of transition. Serving the Newberg community since 1981, we are a well-established hospital known for experienced doctors, exceptional staff support, and providing high-quality care at a value that has drawn clients from hours away for decades.

If you're a veterinarian who enjoys doing it all-GP, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentals, urgent care, and surgery-this is a place where your skills will be used, appreciated, and supported.

About the Practice
  • Full-service small animal GP serving dogs & cats
  • Strong emphasis on general practice and internal medicine
  • Advanced diagnostics including:
    • Digital radiographs
    • Ultrasound (performed regularly in-house)
    • PennHIP
  • Dentals, urgent care appointments as needed, and comprehensive medical workups
  • Modern, well-equipped hospital with on-site boarding
  • Incredibly experienced and supportive staff with excellent doctor-to-tech ratios

Our veterinarians have traditionally been successful here because they enjoy a broad scope of medicine and collaborating closely with a seasoned, capable support team.

Your Role
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care across a full range of GP and internal medicine cases
  • Perform diagnostics, dentals, urgent care, and medical case management
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues who value mentorship, teamwork, and learning
  • Help shape the future of the practice during a meaningful period of evolution
  • Option to bring your own professional interests or niche into the hospital. If you have a preferred focus, we are open and eager to explore how it fits into our practice.

Schedule & Flexibility
  • Currently open Monday-Saturday, with some late shifts
  • Previously operated 7 days/week - flexibility in scheduling is important to us
