Board-Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our highly engaged and collaborative team of veterinary specialists.
As a
Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment, managing a diverse and complex caseload while providing exceptional patient care. Our Internal Medicine service has a high case volume and is fully equipped to support gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and respiratory endoscopic procedures. The role also includes clinical and didactic teaching, with opportunities to supervise and mentor interns and final-year veterinary students from the University of Calgary.
Our multidisciplinary specialty team includes specialists in radiology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, surgery, critical care, and more. Our facility is equipped with advanced imaging modalities, including
CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound, with after-hours and weekend care supported by our on-site emergency and critical care teams.
Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:- Completed an Internal Medicine Residency and is or will be Board-certified.
- Commitment to collaborative, team-based medicine.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with colleagues, pet parents, and the veterinary community.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with opportunities to support veterinarians in our mentorship program and supervise externship students.
- Passion for teaching, coaching, and guiding the next generation of veterinary professionals.
