The Humane Society of South Mississippi is seeking a passionate, licensedVeterinarianto join our growing medical team. Whether you're interested inwellness care, sick appointments, urgent care, high-volume spay/neuter, ancillary surgeries, orshelter medicine, we want to meet you. What You’ll Do (Depending on Your Interests):

  • Perform wellness exams and preventative medicine
  • Diagnose and treat sick or injured pets
  • Provide urgent care services
  • Conduct spay/neuter surgeries (high-volume experience a plus but not required)
  • Perform ancillary soft-tissue surgeries
  • Oversee medical treatment plans within our shelter population
  • Work with a compassionate team dedicated to improving animal welfare
