Veterinarian, General Practice
Location: Ottawa, ON Employment Type: Full-time Job Status: Existing Level: 2+ years of clinic experience Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Compassionate Patient Care: Deliver high-quality medicine through thorough physical examinations, diagnostic workups, and individualized treatment and wellness plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Team Collaboration & RVT Utilization: Champion a collaborative, team-based practice model by delegating and actively partnering with RVTs and clinical assistants to work to the top of their scope.
Client Communication & Education: Build lasting relationships with pet parents through clear, empathetic discussions regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive wellness, and home-care plans.
Mentorship & Continuous Learning: Participate in hospital rounds, share knowledge, and mentor junior associates, students, or support team members.
Participation in Team Training: Support, train and mentor new graduates
