Full Job Description
Lead a world-class technical support team as Supervisor at PACCAR Parts' 24/7/365 Vehicle Support Center (VSC). Based in Renton, Washington, you'll support 20+ high-performing VSC Specialists across three strategic locations-PACCAR Parts Renton, PACCAR North Texas, and PACCAR Parts India-driving operational excellence and maximizing vehicle uptime for our dealer network. In this leadership role, you'll manage daily team operations while optimizing key performance metrics including response times, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. You'll partner with cross-functional leadership to execute strategic initiatives that reduce repair times, increase throughput, and strengthen relationships across PACCAR Parts, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and their dealer networks-all while delivering exceptional support to PACCAR dealer technicians. Success in this position requires strong technical knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your leadership directly impacts customer success. Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-10:00 PM Pacific Time Job Functions / Responsibilities • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to maximize performance while ensuring departmental training requirements, certifications, and regulatory standards are maintained. • Support onboarding, training, and career development programs for VSC Specialists • Track, evaluate, and report daily, monthly, and annual performance metrics • Analyze operational trends and voice of the customer to optimize operations • Address team issues and remove roadblocks related to products, tools, and documentation by collaborating with other PACCAR divisions. • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven decision making. • Oversee the creation, review, updating, and publication of knowledge-base articles and standard work instructions. • Lead cross-functional initiatives with PACCAR divisions to improve vehicle diagnostics, support processes, and dealer technician efficiency. • Lead support center tours for customers and PACCAR employees. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field required, MBA desired. • 3+ years of experience in PACCAR or an equivalent industry and at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. • Previous experience in powertrain diagnostics, vehicle diagnostics, and software technical experience preferred. • Technical skills and ability to understand complex electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to identify customer needs and transform them into solutions. • Exceptional communication, both verbally and written, with various levels of stakeholders within and outside of the organization. • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and performance management skills. • Advanced ability utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to gather and analyze data, identify areas of opportunity and deliver improvements. • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with changing schedules and requirements • Comprehensive understanding of PACCAR Systems including TCS365, RMI, PVP, and DAVIE4 preferred • Six Sigma process knowledge required Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: • Fully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirement • Comprehensive paid time off - minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick time • Tuition reimbursement for continued education • Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family • Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) • Paid short-and long-term disability programs • Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance • EAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and more • This position is eligible for a holiday gift • 401k with up to a 5% company match Additional Job Board Information At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above. This includes 21 distribution centers globally that support 2,300 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.
