Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $97,600.00 - $146,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Leads and oversees all vehicle maintenance and repair operations, ensuring high-quality service that meets factory standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Manages supervisors, technicians, and support staff; optimizes workflow and staffing schedules; ensures timely, efficient vehicle repairs; maintains shop resources and technical support systems; and drives continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Provides coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for technicians while ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment. Conducts quality inspections, analyzes vehicle service needs, and ensures adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

Manage and provide direction to the supervisors, teams and team members.

• Ensure systems are in place to efficiently and effectively manage quality work in accordance with factory standards, company policies and customer expectations.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through the direction of technicians/shop staff in the performance of quality maintenance and repair work.

• Prepare schedules and plan staff rotations to ensure maintenance/repair work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

• Analyze incoming vehicles for service needs.

• Maintain supply and support systems, including technical reference material, workshop supplies and other related materials.

• Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.

• Mentor and teach technicians to ensure overall growth of the team.

• Ensure that all personnel adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and 6+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience).

• At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.

• Good communication and interaction skills.

• Good management and organizational skills.

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.

• The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).

Work Environment:

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
