About the Team The RDA Engineering capability is responsible for leading all local engineering and delivery activities for the delivery of the Boxer range of vehicles to the Commonwealth of Australia. As the REPAIR VEM, you will manage a team of engineers in the development of a new variant of the Boxer vehicle for the Australian Army that is focused on supporting the in-field maintenance of other Boxer vehicles. This will include supporting delivery of all contractual obligations in relation to the non-turreted Repair variant, which includes supporting the project through Engineering milestones outlined in the ASDEFCON agreement.
About the Role The
Vehicle Engineering Manager (VEM) - Repair is primarily an Engineering focused role that leads the design development. The
role is responsible for coordinating and managing the engineering activities to achieve successful completion of LAND 400 Phase 2, with an emphasis on the non-turreted Repair variant. The role must balance a dual-reporting structure, with progress, schedule and budget responsibility reporting to the IPT Lead, whilst ensuring accountability for integrity and assurance of design to the Chief Engineer. This role will develop and lead the Vehicle Engineering activities for the allocated Boxer development and delivery, ensuring compliance with the contractual deliverables.

- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant Engineering field or related discipline;
- 10+ years relevant industry experience;
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering Process and Functional Baseline Management;
- Experience leading a multi-disciplined team of engineering and technical staff; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
