Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Degree or relevant experience in Forestry, Arboriculture, or Environmental Science
• Leadership experience preferred, particularly with PG&E contractor work practices
• Experience in emergency response or hazard tree removal preferred
• ISA Certified Arborist designation preferred
• Strong knowledge of plant identification and invasive species
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Able to navigate rugged terrain and work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Lead vegetation management operations and contractor performance
• Solve complex problems independently and develop process improvements
• Coordinate VM activities, including scheduling and progress monitoring
• Clarify program expectations for contractor employees as directed by PG&E
• Handle customer interactions related to complaints and access issues
• Support agency meetings, field visits, and project management
• Conduct database investigations to identify and resolve issues
• Assist Vegetation Management Inspectors and ensure safety practices are followed
