Role Overview:The Veeva Vault Platform Technical Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end data migration initiatives for large datasets within the Veeva Vault platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in Veeva data migration strategies, tools, and architecture, ensuring successful data transformation and loading.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the end-to-end data migration.
- Develop Data Migration Strategy.
- Develop Cutover strategy.
- Finalize source to target mapping and transformation.
- Lead code development and scripting as necessary to facilitate data migration.
- Create and manage Progress trackers for all data migration related activities and stages.
- Develop and document a standard data migration approach working with the architecture and project/program management team.
- Coordinate and facilitate development and validation efforts for data transformation, and loading, ensuring successful data migration.
- Creation of technical documentation as per customer SDLC process and following up on reviews and approvals for the same.
Required Skills:- Hands-on "End to End" Veeva Data Migration experience on large data set (>500K records).
- Experience of using Vault Loader, Custom Migration Tool etc.
- Experience in data migration using Veeva API.
- Expertise on "Veeva Object Record" Migration and "Veeva Document" Migration.
- Expert knowledge of Veeva data model, including documents, records, and metadata.
- Experience on data map and transformation exercise from existing data sources to Veeva Vault structure.
- Experience in strategizing Data Migration, Data Verification etc. from source to Veeva system.
- Proven ability to develop Cutover and Rollback strategy for Data Migration.
- Commanding data analysis capability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data migration issues and discrepancies.
- In-depth understanding & knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools for effective data migration.
- Strong experience with Veeva Vault configuration and implementation.
- Must have clear understanding of Veeva Vault Architecture & Security model.
- Must have "technical hands-on" experience to lead the Data Migration as "Technical Lead".
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Must be self-motivated and proactive.
- Need to show constant dynamism and able to manage pressure.

Qualifications:Preferred Skills:- First-hand experience of working with Veeva Vault Quality.
- Experience with Quality Management processes in Life Sciences/CPG industry.
- Experience with Java or Python to develop custom scripts for data migration activities.
