About the Job You Are Considering We are looking for a skilled Veeva Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Veeva Vault and/or Veeva CRM applications. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, quality teams, commercial operations, and IT collaborators to enhance system capabilities, streamline processes, and ensure compliance across the Veeva ecosystem.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Veeva's configuration tools, a solid understanding of life sciences processes, and the technical ability to design scalable, high-quality solutions.
Your Role Veeva Configuration & Technical Support
- Configure and maintain Veeva modules such as Vault QMS, Vault RIM, Vault QualityDocs, Vault Clinical, or Veeva CRM/Salesforce-based solutions.
- Develop and refine objects, workflows, lifecycles, document types, page layouts, and user permissions.
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage support tickets, and perform detailed root cause analysis.
- Implement releases, patches, and perform regression testing aligned with new Veeva updates
Business Process Alignment
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, user experience, and compliance.
- Document system configurations, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures to support transparency and continuity.
Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Veeva implementations, new module rollouts, and ongoing system expansion projects.
- Drive automation, streamline processes, and identify opportunities to elevate usability and compliance.
- Ensure all delivered solutions meet relevant regulatory requirements, including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable frameworks.
Your Skills and Experience - 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Veeva Vault and/or Veeva CRM.
- Strong understanding of configuration elements: workflows, lifecycles, metadata, security, and page layouts.
- Experience supporting life sciences processes (quality, regulatory, clinical, or commercial).
- Familiarity with validation practices and regulated documentation processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across functions.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $68,911 - $150,350 / year.
