The Role As a Vascular Sonography Technologist, you will perform specialized vascular ultrasound examinations that help physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular diseases and conditions. Working within a fast-paced academic healthcare environment, you will combine technical expertise , patient-centered care, and critical thinking to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.
In this role, you will:
- Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations utilizing advanced imaging technology.
- Produce accurate , high-quality diagnostic studies that support timely clinical decision making.
- Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals.
- Provide compassionate care and education to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Apply sound clinical judgment while evaluating complex vascular findings.
- Contribute to a department recognized for excellent patient experience scores and exceptional teamwork.
- Participate in a schedule that is primarily Monday through Friday , with limited call coverage from 4 PM to 11 PM and rotating holiday and weekend responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area of specialty as required by position.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Heart Associate (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required; additional requirements specified by position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $36.63 - $51.17 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
