Description

The Department of Vascular Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is accepting applications from all ranks for a full-time Vascular surgeon. The selected individual will have a practice focused on the management of venous disease. The group currently has broad exposure to all forms of venous disease including superficial venous disease, deep vein disease, chronic obstructive venous disease and atypical venous processes. This position may be tailored to align with the experience and professional interests of the candidate.

Job responsibilities include participation in organizing, further developing and expanding venous care through our health care system along with clinical and academic activities as they relate to the Department of Vascular Surgery. The candidate will work closely with the Department Chair, other members of the Vascular Surgery team, department administration, and other disciplines.

Qualifications

Eligible candidates must be board certified or eligible in Vascular surgery, able to obtain and maintain a Tennessee Medical License and have completed an ACGME approved vascular residency or fellowship. Applicants should have a strong commitment to patient care and education and an interest in clinical research.
