Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and supports Medtronic's Vascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including key decision makers, customers, their staff, and administrators who drive business and therapy adoption.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Vascular products and services to understand and confirm customer needs, effectively engage, and overcome customer objections.
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and services.
Conducts and evaluates market research, including customer and competitor activities.
Develops and implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Establishes effective relationships and collaborates with other departments (Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, etc.) to address critical business issues and opportunities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. Employees must also interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers.
Ability to travel domestically over 50% by automobile, plane, or other forms of transportation
Lifting/carrying 20 pounds
Sit/stand walk 6-8 hours a day
Operate moving vehicle
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry
Effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels
Strong project management skills and experience coordinating programs
Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
