That's exactly what you will be doing as a Value Stream Specialist supporting F35 Microwave on weekend nights. You'll be managing a staff of technical operations individuals responsible for assembling and testing state-of-the-art Microwave hardware. As VSS, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, and cultivating talented staff members in support of the F35 platform. Monitoring performance across critical KPIs such as safety, security, quality, cost, and delivery to name a few.
We are looking for a servant leader with a passion for mentoring employees and driving total ownership of their factory performance. Candidates with a continuous improvement mindset and some manufacturing experience to draw from will be strongly considered.
Our weekend nights team works Friday/Saturday/Sunday 3PM-3AM offering weekdays off to help with the work-life balance for families and students alike.
Required Skills and Education
High School or GED and 2 years direct experience or equivalent experience
Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance
Ability to read/write English
Computer competency including Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.)
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
2+ Years leading in a manufacturing environment
Active secret clearance
Continuous Improvement background/certifications
Project management
