Position Overview

The Regional Medical Director serves as a senior clinical leader responsible for overseeing the quality, performance, and delivery of medical services across multiple healthcare locations within an assigned region. This role ensures that clinical care meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting the organization's value-based care model.

The Regional Medical Director collaborates closely with clinical teams, administrative leadership, and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and support organizational growth. This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Core Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership and Oversight

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to physicians and healthcare teams across the region
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with organizational standards
  • Support clinical decision-making and best practice implementation
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement


Quality Improvement and Clinical Performance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives

Regulatory & Compliance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
