Lanteris Space Systems is currently seeking a V&V Tech Lead to join our team in our Palo Alto, CA, San Jose, CA or Houston, TX offices. This role can also be based remotely in the US. In this role, you will work on a variety of challenging projects including NASA's Artemis program, the Power Propulsion Element. You will lead the verification and validation campaigns for flight software and simulation systems.

Responsibilities:
• Design and execute comprehensive software verification plans and procedures for flight software, including software on payload and customer furnished equipment (CFE).
• Develop and execute requirement and use case/scenario based test procedures in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL)environment and document test results to ensure that software system requirements are met.
• Own V&V (verification and validation) life cycle and technical roadmap for flight software testing and defines the overarching validation strategy across test phases.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion test automation that reduces human error and manual intervention
• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical authority for test processes and representing organization in Test Preparation and Build Delivery Reviews.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems)

Minimum requirements:
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 15 years of software V&V experience
• Experience authoring test procedures, driving process improvements and managing defects/non-conformances
• Experience with technical writing, and cross-functional stakeholder management

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • C/C++ skills, Python for automation scripts
  • Experience working in a continuous build and test environment
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and issue tracking tools such as the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Gitlab
  • Strong verbal communication skills

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $146,000.00 - $244,000.00 annually.• The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $146,000.00 - $244,000.00 annually.• The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $146,000.00 - $244,000.00 annually.• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $161,000.00 - $269,000.00 annually.• The base pay for this position within California is: $168,000.00 - $280,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
