V&V Engineer - Fly-by-Wire M/FTemporary position | Full-Time | Mirabel (QC)
What will your rolebe?In this project, you will perform functional and requirement-based Validation and Verification activities of Fly-by-Wire unit and system level functions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Definition of test plans and procedures related to Fly-by-Wire control system functional;
- Execution of test procedures;
- Functional and requirement-based testing (from test procedures) on test facility;
- Troubleshooting issues found on test benches;
- Creation of Problem Reports for issues found during tests;
- Creation of verification test reports;
- Post test analysis of results against requirements;
- Review and approval of supplier verification data;
- Proposals of modifications to the FCS rig design and processes, if needed.
What qualifications are we looking for?You have:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in V&V;
- Experience with Fly-by-Wire;
- Knowledge of Flight Controls or Avionic systems;
- Experience performing test procedures, creating plots and analyses from recorded data and ultimately proving requirement compliance;
- Experience related to electro-mechanical actuators or control computers;
- Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment, and ability to multi-task;
- Functional knowledge of French and English.
