What you'll do- Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript/Angular, HTML and CSS code.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites look and function.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
- Maintain and improve existing applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and peers to design, implement and test software applications.
- Respond to technical requests regarding assigned application or component.
Qualifications- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
- Proficiency in Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.
Preferred- Experience working with and implementing web services in the front-end
- Proficiency using Git version control
- Experience in Agile development methodologies, Scrum preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
