Core Responsibilities

1. Provides usability services to business and IT teams for web and mobile applications across multiple platforms, for low to mid-scale scope projects.

2. Conducts studies and reviews research on human factors response to bring value to Vanguard's business, technology, and processes.

3. Supports and/or conducts user interviews and contextual inquiries to identify user needs and gather user feedback. Ensures privacy and conducts sessions in a professional manner.

4. Collects data, analyzes, and summarizes results. Assists in presenting to design teams and decision makers.

5. Contributes actionable suggestions based on knowledge of target user base and usability best practices. Educates project teams and crew regarding usability's purpose and value.

6. Composes an analysis of findings and makes recommendations for user interface enhancements. Presents findings to project teams. May present to senior leaders if needed.

7. Socializes test/research plans with key project team and business partners. Discusses adoption of critical usability findings. Works to integrate usability findings into practice by developing buy-in from the business.

8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
