Job Description

McLaughlin Research Corporation is looking for UUV Engineers/Operators to help Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) stand up a In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) program for a new Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV). Successful candidates will have hands-on UUV operations experience, possess a multidisciplinary engineering skill-set, and have basic knowledge of U.S. Navy Integrated Logistics System (ILS) best practices. Support will include, but not be limited to, sustainment engineering, troubleshooting, coordination of repairs/overhauls, spares planning and supply, and operator training. This position will primarily be located on-site at NUWCDIVNPT with some travel required.

Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. Navy UUV programs
- Experience developing and/or providing UUV operator training
- Experience providing support to the Fleet regarding UUV operations, maintenance, etc.
- Ability to analyze data collected during system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand system diagrams and wiring schematics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
