Utilities/Waste Treatment Maintenance Supervisor

Pay

Salaried grade 8
$87,500 - $99,800/ year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Exempt

Schedule

1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

On-site

Weekend, holiday, and/or other hours will be required at times

Must be willing to work other shifts when necessary

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Utilities/Waste Treatment Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team.

  • Provide leadership and support for all dimensions of the Utilities and Waste Treatment operations
  • Develop written operating procedures for Utilities and Waste Treatment processes regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that predictive and preventative maintenance programs are developed, monitored, and improved
  • Lead implementation of Lean Principles
  • Monitor, analyze and use new technologies/ideas to reduce energy costs/use (water, steam, electricity, compressed air and other utilities identified)
  • Support and implement Manufacturing to a Standard
  • Assist engineering and engineering consultants with system upgrades and operations
  • Maintain and oversee Maintenance contracts and contractors
  • Support environmental compliance through effective management of work practices and procedures that meet regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance within discharge parameters at Waste Treatment
  • Provide technical training and assistance to the workforce
  • Attend training classes / seminars as required
  • Parts department management
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Mechanical background in various types of waste water, steam boiler, air handler and process chiller equipment
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Industrial electrical knowledge
  • Computer skills
  • Production maintenance experience
  • Planning and scheduling with CMMS software
  • Waste Water training
  • Steam/Hot Water Boiler Safety training
  • FDA(CFR21) and cGMP(current good manufacturing practices) experience
