Full Job Description
SALARY: $106,400 - $126,350, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Utilities Reliability Manager will lead, coach, and develop relationships with utility operators and maintenance team members while monitoring the Brewery's Utilities plans. Attending department meetings, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metric, influencing change, and growing technically and as a leader are all elements of this great opportunity at the St. Louis Brewery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process engineering support in powerhouse (steam boilers, high voltage maintenance, refrigeration, air compressors, CO2 system, water, water treatment)
  • Provide technical leadership to solve medium to long range process-based problems in Packaging, Brewing, and Utilities operations
  • Track and report on Energy and Fluids usage and cost performance and initiate processes to control costs
  • Utilize standard management tools (VPO) to achieve critical metric targets close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, SIC, MCRS, 5 Why's, PDCA and SCDA cycles, etc.)
  • Analyze Energy and Fluid critical metric/PI data and coordinate with department owners to identify usage trends and to develop performance improvement initiatives
  • Champion Energy and Fluids Good Operating Practices (GOPs)
  • Lead learning and development initiatives to improve the technical knowledge and skill set of operators and technicians within area of expertise
  • Contribute to improvements in controls system performance by ensuring timely and quality issues resolution
  • Promote and enforce effective change management, support transition and support escalation processes for various design and implementation teams for Utilities systems
  • Develop, Document, & Implement process improvements to make the Brewery teams more effective and efficient
  • Reliability Manager will work closely with Brewery PSM Coordinator (Process Safety Management program). They will develop plans and maintain action logs for any Safety or Permitting issues and future prevention
  • Member of Brewery Hazwoper team, training provided


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS degree in Engineering preferred, technical degree required
  • Looking for candidate with 3 years of experience and Utilities experience preferred
  • Well-developed cross-functional problem solving & multi-tasking abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented & strong customer focus skills; ability to lead change
  • Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions
  • Detail oriented, schedule driven and strong planning skills needed for handling multiple projects, experience in sustainable project execution
  • Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
  • Mechanically or electrically inclined to understand the utilities process
  • Belt methodology and/or lean methods experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the OSHA Safety and Health regulations a plus
  • Flexibility and availability to be on call for all shifts, including weekends and holidays
