Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Health Pittsburg is growing and hiring
BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join team.
This position would be (2) week a month of hospitalist coverage in our
UT Health Pittsburg hospital.About this Position:- This position is 7 days on and 7 days off.
- 7am - 7pm
- No procedures needed
- NO ICU
- Average daily census 10-15 average 2-3 admits /day
- Night cross coverage by remote APP
- ER runs Codes
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired at our regional facilities
- Teaching responsibilities will include Rural Family Medicine Residents.
- Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding-leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
Position Requirements:- BE/BC in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
