Our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team addresses the evolving challenges faced by private capital investors and multinational companies amid changing tax and trade regulations, increased tax risk, and reputational pressures. Our globally connected services support the entire transaction lifecycle, from strategy to disposal, providing robust tax advice crucial for strategic business decisions in a dynamic market, and empowering clients to navigate complex transactions and optimize their corporate structures.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Transfer Pricing Analyst, you will have significant involvement in all stages of the transfer pricing lifecycle, offering a high-profile opportunity to assume diverse responsibilities and expand your skills and expertise. Your primary focus will be to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, providing both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform and advise our clients. This will include building strong relationships with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and understanding their specific requirements and goals in order to deliver customized global services that meet their unique needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding of the US Transfer Pricing regulations and OECD Guidelines to advise clients in decision making.


  • Understanding transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges.


  • Support in modeling financial outcomes, valuing intangible assets and developing practical planning approaches.


  • Support in working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.


  • Utilizing tax research databases and other tax-related tools in the completion of assigned tasks.


  • Liaising with onshore and global transfer pricing professionals to drive collaboration.


Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Actively working towards obtaining either an LL.M. in Taxation or Juris Doctor, supported by a strong academic record.


  • Membership or anticipated membership in a US state bar.


  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPivot, Power Query, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Alteryx and Word.


  • An interest working in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.


  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.


  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs


  • You must reside within a commutable distance of the office location associated with this position.


  • Immigration sponsorship may be available.


Ideally, you'll also have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.


  • Cumulative law school GPA of 3.0 or above.


  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90,000 - $125,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
