Role summary:

As a Software Engineer II at Walmart, you will deliver high-quality software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services. You will apply object-oriented programming principles, integrate AI/ML components, and drive continuous development through automated testing and deployment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical judgment, and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective designs. You will contribute to innovation, ensure technical ownership, and support ongoing improvements to meet business objectives and enhance customer experiences.
About the team:

Our team operates within the CCC, supporting key cross-functional areas including Logistics, Stores, Suppliers, and eCommerce. We ensure stable and resilient retail systems by proactively detecting issues and resolving incidents swiftly to reduce impact. Daily tasks involve managing ticket operations, major incidents, and on-call support, while enhancing alerting and monitoring capabilities. Combining operational excellence with engineering principles, we utilize analytics and AI-driven methods to prevent recurring problems. Collaboration with Retail Services, Retail Link/EDI, and other initiatives enables us to coordinate projects, deliver insights, and advance automation and system reliability at scale.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
