Role summary:
The Senior Software Engineer will lead the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions using multiple programming languages and AI/ML integrations. The engineer will drive continuous improvement, conduct code reviews, and support operational excellence through monitoring and debugging. Strong technical judgment, effective collaboration, and a product-driven mindset are essential to deliver high-quality, reliable software that meets stakeholder needs and advances Walmart's technology goals.
About the team:
The AdTech Measurement and Reporting team delivers comprehensive performance insights to support informed decision-making. This team designs and implements scalable, cloud-native platforms for real-time data processing and AI integration. Collaborating across functions, members develop robust tools that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. By applying advanced engineering principles and model-driven design, the team ensures reliable, high-quality outputs that drive business value. The group focuses on continuous improvement and innovation while aligning with strategic goals and operational excellence to support Walmart's commitment to impactful technology solutions.
What you'll do:
  • Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence using internal and external APIs.
  • Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software quality and performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
