About the team: The Creative Platform team develops and maintains Walmart's first-party self-service ad creative builder, enabling advertisers to create, process, and deliver ad creatives across Walmart's retail media network. This team manages the full backend stack, including creative management APIs, video transcoding, and image optimization. Focused on scalable and reliable solutions, the team supports onsite and offsite ad delivery, ensuring high performance and seamless integration. Members collaborate closely to drive innovation, maintain system quality, and deliver impactful features that power Walmart's advertising business end-to-end.
What you'll do: - Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
- Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software quality and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and measure solution impact.
- Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement through proactive testing and integration.
