Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a Senior Engineering Manager for Discovery E2E, you will lead a team of talented engineers responsible for building and evolving these end-to-end customer experiences. You will combine strong technical leadership with people leadership, execution excellence, and cross-functional partnership to deliver highly available, performant, and scalable products while developing a high-performing engineering organization.

What you'll do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team delivering end-to-end Marketplace experiences across Discovery surfaces, spanning web, mobile, and orchestration platforms.
  • Drive architecture, execution, scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence for large-scale customer-facing products.
  • Partner with Product, UX, Data Science, Analytics, and Business to define strategy, roadmaps, and differentiated shopping experiences.
  • Champion experimentation, observability, CI/CD, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and long-term corrective actions for complex production issues.
  • Build a culture of belonging, integrity, ownership, innovation, collaboration, talent development, and strong execution.


What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams delivering large-scale customer-facing products.
  • Strong technical depth in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Rust, Swift, Kotlin, GraphQL, or similar technologies.
