This role oversees performance management, compliance, and employee engagement while fostering a collaborative team environment. By leveraging data analysis and cross-functional partnerships, the position ensures effective resource allocation and continuous improvement. The Senior Manager also champions ethical standards and company values, providing guidance and coaching to leaders and associates to enhance overall workforce capability and contribute to sustained business success.

The Senior Manager, People, supports the Real Estate and Energy teams by partnering with senior leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness and develop scalable talent solutions. This team focuses on empowering associates to deliver exceptional results through data-driven strategies and continuous improvement. They drive change management initiatives, foster employee engagement, and ensure alignment with business goals. By leveraging human resource management and data analysis, the team creates an environment where talent thrives and operational needs are met efficiently, contributing to the success and growth of a dynamic business.
What you'll do:
  • Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to enhance performance.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to build a high-performing, team-based work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and legal regulations through training, audits, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to analyze data, identify risks, and deliver actionable insights supporting business objectives.

  • Strong knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Demonstrated skills in driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of accountability, and supporting associate development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to build trusted relationships across functions and influence outcomes.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
