Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary: You are an experienced strategist adept at translating customer insights into actionable briefs while helping to create, shape and sell effective creative platforms. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get in at every stage of the creative process. In this role you will work across a variety of retail verticals to develop insightful strategies that lead to effective creative campaigns. You will be in a highly collaborative function, partnering closely with internal and partner teams to ensure our creative ideas are informed by, and resonate with, our customers.
What you'll do: - Creative brief development for campaigns spanning the entire marketing funnel
- Collaboration with creative teams throughout the creative process from brief, to concepting, and into production
- Distillation of key learnings from qualitative and quantitative research, and past campaign performance in partnership with the Consumer Insights team
- Development of audience-first communications plans that align messages, media, and audiences across paid, owned, earned, and shared.
- Establish strong, collaborative, trusting relationships across Walmart Creative and our partners.
- Challenge the status quo in the spirit of delivering creative that drives connection and action.
- Be relentlessly curious. Re-frame existing challenges in a new light that creates whitespace for ideas and activations.
What you'll bring: - 7+ years of Creative Strategy and Comms Planning experience at an in-house or external creative agency
- Proven track record of articulating clear and compelling customer insights in tight creative briefs
- Experience working closely with creative teams from briefing, conception and into production
- Skilled researcher and analyst comfortable with a variety of quantitative and qualitative inputs and identifying what is most relevant
- Possess a keen understanding of how to connect business goals and brand objectives to clear KPIs
- Deep understanding of and experience with the media landscape
- Excellent deck/narrative building and presentation skills to educate, influence buy-in, and sell through ideas

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
