About the team: The Global Audit Data Analytics Team within Global Technology Audit partners with audit and business units to identify and mitigate risks through advanced data analytics and strategic insights. The team leverages expertise in data strategy, statistical modeling, and visualization to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Focused on data quality and innovative solutions, members support Walmart's mission of delivering value. What you'll do: - Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards.
- Perform initial data quality assessments and manage ongoing data cleansing activities.
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using appropriate analytical methods.
- Develop and present clear data visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business strategy.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics to ensure compliance with governance policies.
- Mentor junior analysts on data analysis techniques and visualization best practices.
- Support exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
What you'll bring: - Extensive knowledge of data sources, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience performing data quality assessments.
- Strong understanding of data strategy principles, data management, governance, and data quality standards.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools such as Python libraries, Tableau, or PowerBI to communicate insights effectively.
- Experience conducting exploratory data analysis using statistical techniques and relevant scripting languages like Python or SQL.
- Ability to manage data quality frameworks, monitor metrics, and lead data cleansing initiatives.
- Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights and support decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
