Role summary:
The Principal, Technology Operations leads the planning, execution, and financial management of large-scale technology programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires expertise in program management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement to drive operational efficiency and deliver measurable business value. The position involves developing integrated strategies, monitoring progress, and influencing decision-making through data-driven insights. The successful candidate will foster collaboration across business units, optimize resource allocation, and implement innovative processes to support continuous improvement and organizational success within a complex technology environment.
About the team:
The Technology Operations team at Walmart Imports plays a vital role in shaping and executing operational and technology strategies for the Cross Border Imports onboarding experience. This team collaborates closely with leaders across Marketplace, Global Transportation, Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, and Technology to define business requirements and drive scalable onboarding solutions. Focused on program expansion and process automation, the team ensures efficient, compliant, and scalable access to Walmart Imports services. By leveraging strong program, financial, and stakeholder management skills, the team delivers sustainable growth and enhances the seller experience across the Walmart Imports platform.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the onboarding operations function within WCB Imports, maintaining accountability for seller onboarding execution, compliance, and performance
  • Define and manage the onboarding roadmap for Walmart Imports sellers, ensuring offerings align with seller needs, operational
  • capabilities, and program scale objectives
  • Serve as a PMO leader for onboarding and initiatives, including program planning, milestone management, risk identification, dependency tracking, and executive reporting
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to develop, refine, and document onboarding requirements that improve seller experience and support new program launches
  • Represent the Marketplace supply chain team in cross-functional forums, ensuring onboarding and expansion requirements are clearly communicated, aligned, and prioritized

  • Proven ability to define and implement large-scale technology programs aligned with business strategy.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
